Q:

can this pot be placed directly on a gas fire stovetop? does the lid have to be removed in order to pour? do you have to hold the lid in place when pouring or does it stay securely fastened to pot? does the handle get hot? thanks

nicole u.  asked on  Nov 16, 2012

A:

Hi Nicole. Yes, it is stovetop safe but it is recommended that you boil the water in another vessel first then pour it over your flowering tea. If you do put it on the stove to warm it please keep it on low heat so that the fire does not extend past the base. The lid does not have to be removed to pour but it is recommended to keep your hand on it to hold it as a safety precaution. The handle will get hot over a flame.

Q:

Will this be offered again? I really only want the pot and the infuser so I don't need double the tea and it says $19 offer is sold out. I only use decaffinated tea.
