Humans learned the secret of flight by studying pigeons, after years of getting nowhere while studying penguins. Take off with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $99 for a three-hour kiteboarding package for one that includes a two-hour basic kiteboarding course and a one-hour riding lesson (a $298 value)
  • $189 for a three-hour kiteboarding package for two that includes a two-hour basic kiteboarding course and a one-hour riding lesson (a $596 value)

IKO-certified instructors take students to the mouth of the Squamish River for kiteboarding and riding instruction that begins with 40 minutes on land reviewing board and kite skills, including launching, body-dragging, and other techniques. Then, students acclimate to gliding on the water during one-hour riding lessons to instill proper body positioning, board starts, and power strokes necessary for proper kiteboarding takeoff. See the FAQ page for more details.

Aerial Kiteboarding

Aerial Kiteboarding's certified instructors teach students by imparting water-kiting techniques in both private and group lessons, helping beginners and more advanced students alike. After teaching beginning lessons in introductory classes, the instructors move onto more advanced moves such as steering, flight control, riding skills, and launching and landing methods. They supply all rentals and equipment for the classes and lessons, which run seven days a week depending on the weather and the amount of reindeer air traffic. Aside from their flagship kiteboarding packages, the outdoorsy folks also offer other services such as kayak rentals, SUP tours, and wakeboarding.

Truly a great experience. Very knowledgable, professional staff- Glen was awesome! Felt very comfortable and safe in the water as we were away from the crowds. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get in the water as a beginner or expert.

This was the best experience, we had the owner take us out and he was soo funny and really good at teaching us. He really knew what we need to know to make it all come together to get the most out of our lesson. Totally ready to go again.
