I enjoy the food, cocktails and customer service. Chef experiments with the menu seasonally. Produce comes from local farms listed on the menu.

Food is fabulous and beautiful… the vegetables are amazing… I didn’t know you could do this to veggies… everything was delicious! We had the braised beef and the pork rib chops and the shrimp appetizer. Amazing! The only complaint was the 25% service charge. Is 25% appropriate? Wow!

There’s an $11 service charge added to the total. I wasn’t expecting to pay a service charge considering that It was a carry out order. The food was extremely average.

This business charges their customers a 22% Groupon service fee for takeout in advanced, without letting the customer know. Put a sour taste in my mouth since most restaurants will tell you about fees before you order or sit down and it’s usually 18%-20% for dine in, not take out. Their sea bass dish was great. Their pasta was disappointing. I do like that they have healthy options!

The food was great (one the best lamb burgers I have ever eaten in the DMV area). However, the owner was quite unfriendly and I was charged 22% of tips in the check for a takeout.

Not worth any of the hype. I did not enjoy my meal, half of it and the dessert went to the trash.

About DC Harvest

At DC Harvest, chef Arthur Ringel treats every dish like a math problem. In other words: he shows his work. The restaurant runs a full scratch kitchen, meaning that everything, from the pasta to the aioli to the candied rhubarb, is made right on the premises. This personal attention to ingredients allows Ringel to tweak his menu to fit with changing tastes and season.

Guests here might dine on house specialties such as the eight-day house-cured bacon smoked with cherry wood or crispy quinoa cakes with carrot puree and goat cheese. Ringel's love of bespoke cooking also extends to the mixologists behind the bar, who whip up a lineup of house specialties like their seasonal "Thyme for Fall" draft cocktail that features apricot-infused rye whiskey with thyme syrup, dry vermouth, and lime juice.
