Q:

I have to count the photos in all the old albums but ... sounds like if it is 600 or less, I'd be best to do the $300 for $115 (which sounds great). I saw mention of the 1,000+ ... can you explain what it would cost for say 1100 versus 600 ... I'd rather not "filter" if I don't have to. Second question ... do I "own" the DVD at that point? ie: I'd like my siblings to see them as these are pictures that functionally include lots of family history. Don't want to do illegal copying of the DVD. I doubt that this will be an issue as I assume I will own it, just want to be sure. Thanks, Oh, one more thing ... I assume I have to find boxes and get all the images shipped (no biggie with those post office boxes) .. do the pictures come back and what is the shipping on the return trip?

Mike C.  asked on  Oct 4, 2012

A:

Hi Susan! We scan photos that are in albums for $.68 per photo at 300 dpi or for $.88 per photo at 600 dpi. If you have 1,000 or more photos, I would recommend our prepay option in which you prepay $580 for 1,000 photos in albums. You can then apply one $100 Groupon to that offer. Yes, the DVD is your property, we simply provide the scanning service. When you place your order, you have the option to select UPS Ground shipping for $10 or you can select self shipping. The UPS Ground shipping is a flat rate for packages up to 50 pounds. All orders will be returned via UPS Ground for $10.
