Q:

Hi, Scandigital Guy/Gal--- I have 10 tapes marked Hi8 MP 120, but I believe they were all recorded at slow speed, so there are more than 2 hours on them, and it would be more than $19.95 per tape; do you have any idea how much time slow speed is per tape? I'm trying to figure out the cost and which deal to choose. I also have one tape of a different size (a slightly smaller box/case-about 2 1/2" by 3 1/2"- but wider tape) marked EHG TC-30 VHSC; can you transfer that too? Thanks, Barbara

Barbara L.  asked on  Oct 6, 2012

A:

Hi Barbara! It is possible your tape can go up to 6 hours if recorded at slow speed and it is full. We can definitely transfer your VHS-C tapes. These will be the same price of $19.95 per tape. If you have any more questions, please feel free to email Support@scandigital.com.

Q:

I only have 3 VHS tapes to transfer. To reach the $100 value, may I also sent in photos to transfer? If so, how many?

Barbara K.  asked on  Oct 6, 2012

A:

Hello Barbara! Thank you very much for your inquiry. At $.48 per photo at normal resolution you can have 83 photos scanned for the $40.15 credit you would have left after your tapes. If you have any more questions, please feel free to email Support@scandigital.com.

Q:

Hello...do you provide the service of labeling the converted DVD's with a brief description of the content? I would provide the description for each tape. Thank you .

Debra L.  asked on  Oct 5, 2012

A:

Hello Debra, Thank you very much for your interest in our Groupon promotion. If you label your video tapes, we will label your DVDs as such. Unfortunately, we would not be able to write very much on the DVDs as a description. I apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any more questions, please feel free to email Support@scandigital.com.

marty v.  asked on  Oct 5, 2012

Hi Marty! Unfortunately, we cannot transfer footage from multiple tapes onto one DVD. Each tape will be transferred onto it's own DVD. With the premium transfer, tapes that are two hours or less are transferred for $19.95. Tapes that are more than two hours are transferred for $19.95 for every two hours. Q:

I have 3 - 7" reel to reel, 1 - 6" reel to reel, 1 - 5" and 2 - 3" what option do I need? Should I go for the $40 and then just pay for the upcharge on the additional reel? I assume I should be measuring the reel from one side to the onther?

zane l.  asked on  Oct 5, 2012

A:

Hi Zane! You seem to have about 1880 feet of film. With our premium transfer, that would come out to $518. Depending upon which option you prefer, you can apply the Groupon and pay the remaining balance. Thanks for your interest in our deal! Please feel free to contact us at support@scandigital.com with any further questions. Have a great day!
