The fitness camps are designed to introduce energetic youths to proper athletic movement to prevent injury later on in life. Through drills and games, kids build coordination and speed, and novice-level strength training bolsters young muscles for a future of being referred to as “guns.” Camps for kids aged 7–9 meet each week from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday–Thursday, and run April 30–June 22.<p>

About Depth Training
Depth Training’s staff believes that “the body can do anything; it’s the mind you have to convince,” and strives to motivate patrons of all ages to win the mental battle. Drawing from varied backgrounds in athletics, kinesiology, and physiotherapy, the certified trainers—one of whom coached the national women’s hockey team in strength and conditioning—inspire guests to build strength while preventing injury throughout the facility's three rooms. In the weight-training room, TRX suspension bands and Olympic weights await attention, and the sunny, wood-floored personal-training studio hosts group fitness classes and boot camps. The indoor turf field fosters athletic endeavours, challenging exercisers to push and pull weight sleds to train for the football season or joining a pack of huskies for next year's Iditarod. Committed to training young athletes, the trainers also host summer camps and programs to help kids as young as 7 develop their muscles, endurance, and agility.
