$69 for a 3.5-Hour Kids' Camera Workshop ($175 Value)

Acclaimed photographer Brad Wrobleski—who has travelled on assignment for National Geographic, Men's Journal, and other magazines—works with professional photographer Renee Hopper and a crew of experienced instructors to introduce kids 10 and older to digital SLR cameras during a hands-on program. The staff helm interactive exercises and games to get kids comfortable with snapping shots both indoors and outdoors. They encourage one parent to accompany their child. Participants should bring a DSLR camera, memory cards, batteries, water, and a snack. Workshops will meet at the picnic shelter along Red Willow Park Trail in Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park on Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m.–5 p.m.
