The staff of the J.H. Adams Inn hosts afternoon tea Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their in-house restaurant, Hampton’s. Each guest sips unlimited samples from a menu of Twinings of London teas that includes an English Breakfast blend of Kenyan and Assam teas, an herbal rooibos blend with orange and cinnamon, and a calming vanilla chamomile blend. Dainty finger foods include mini chicken salad croissants and smoked salmon rolls with cucumber, and each guest receives English shortbread and a scone with their cupfuls. Mothers and daughters have a chance to pass plates of 12 food options among up to 12 friends during tea parties.<p>
