Q:

Should you have an existing script you wish to refine for the class, or can you enroll without one?

Rebecca  asked on  Feb 22, 2012

A:

The one-day intensive provides an excellent overview of the type of writing, ideal for both the beginner and someone wanting a refresher course. Students are not required to have an existing script to enroll. If you have any other questions, please call our office 1-877-974-8377.

Q:

which of these classes might be good for developing a one person show?

nancy k.  asked on  Feb 22, 2012

A:

It depends on the type of show you envision. The stand-up comedy class is appropriate for short-form comedy. We don't offer a course that is focused on developing a one person dramatic show. If your show is built upon your experiences, then a memoir writing class could prove useful. If you are seeking to craft something fictional, you could apply some of the principles learned in a playwriting class. Feel free to contact our office 1-877-974-8377 to discuss your specific project/needs in greater deatil.

Students should be 18 years of age or older. We offer teen writing classes during the summer, if that is of interest.
