What You'll Get
Catering allows hosts to worry about real party-planning problems, such as tinkering with the smoke machine or deciding how many cans of soda to stuff into the piñata. Focus on the fun with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $63 for a catered meal for up to 10 (a $150 value)
- $63 for a two-hour in-home cooking class for up to four (a $150 value)

The menu for catered meals is adjusted for each client’s festivities; a party of up to 10 would typically include either large portions of three different appetizers; a main dish and two side dishes; or a main dish, a side dish, and a dessert. Clients can choose main dishes from a selection of beef, chicken, or fish—though Lady Chef Creations warns there may be an additional cost for fish, based on the market value. Though wait staff are not included in the value of this deal, they can be added for an additional charge of $15 per server, per hour, with a minimum of three hours per server.

For cooking classes, chef Tia Blazek travels to client’s homes to share her culinary expertise with up to four protégés. During the two-hour session, she doles out tips, such as how to properly season meats or how to tell the difference between the oven and the microwave, while pupils prepare a main dish from her repertoire of family recipes. The evening’s merriment concludes as chefs-to-be sit down to feast on their compositions.

About Lady Chef Creations
After a friend asked Tia Blazek to make a cake for an upcoming birthday celebration, word began to spread about the Le Cordon Bleu grad's masterful skill in the kitchen, and requests for her freshly baked treats began pouring in. Tia turned her passion for cooking into a business, forming an unstoppable kneading, measuring, and preheating tag-team with her mother, Debbie. Together, they whip up delectable pound cake, cobbler, and cookies, as well as wholesome, home-cooked school lunches and catered dinners. The enterprising young chef also brings her family-recipe desserts and delicious dinners into clients’ homes with private chef services and family cooking classes.
