Q:

what i if need one single and one double tube, do you have a groupon for that?

Veronica B.  asked on  Mar 6, 2012

A:

Sorry the city has banned the double tubes starting this year. You are permitted to attach two single tubes together, each tube has eyelets to connect, and we provide free rope. Thanks!

Q:

Why do you have such horrible reviews on yelp?

Nicole S.  asked on  Mar 5, 2012

A:

Great Question. Summer of 2011 was a record breaker. Crazy heat, no rain, and the Guadelupe, normally taking 90% of all river tubing for New Braunfels, had ankle deep water. This forced thousands of tubers to the small, normally peaceful, family friendly Comal River. All outfitters had waits of up to 2 hours on some days. IT was so bad that the mayor of NB, declared a state of emergency and closed the river on 2 different days. (never happened before in the history of the river!) So, this lead to many many unhappy people, most of whom thought that this was our norm. (We had posted on our website for those who came for a good time and were caught in the middle of that mess.... FREE TUBE RENTALS and a refund for anyone who was not satisfied on your Comal River Tubing Trip. Many took advantage. IT was great to see the same customers, once frustrated, back again, having a great time when there wasnt as much tube traffic! Our motto has always been... If you are not satisfied, you get a refund. IT remains the same. We welcome you this year, as things should be better. New, city ordinances are designed to keep massive amounts of trash off the river as well as to keep those who are only interested in drinking and becoming obnoxious away! See you soon!

Q:

What are the current laws for the river for containers? I'm probably not going to be frequenting the river this year unless they get all of that figured out. Unfortunately I'll just head to the Guadelupe.
