Like most modern conflicts, the rivalry between soft and hard tacos will not end until one side gets eaten by a bear. Broker a culinary truce with today's Groupon: for $6, you get $12 worth of Tex-Mex fare at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, with roots in Texas, imports a menu of authentic Tex-Mex street fare straight from the South. The eatery’s signature baja tacos ($1.99) combine standard taco ingredients of grilled meats, lettuce, and tomatoes with more unusual toppings of cilantro, feta cheese, and garlic sauce. After they're fired from a dinner cannon, jumbo burritos tantalize taste buds with ground or shredded beef, grilled vegetables, and tempura fish ($5.49–$5.99). Breakfast burritos ($4.99) and morning favorites such as huevos rancheros and chilaquiles (5.99) arrive tableside throughout the entire day, basking in the glow of the eatery’s flat-screen televisions or in the sun when the outdoor dining area is open—during warmer months and on Mary Todd Lincoln's half birthday. Although this Groupon can't be used toward alcohol, patrons can wash down eats with a selection of cold beers and margaritas.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop

If it weren’t for father-son duo Alan and Chuck Bush, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop might’ve closed its doors permanently in 2003. Instead, the two bought the restaurant from its then-owner, transforming the flagship Fort Worth location from faltering to bustling. They slowly started to franchise locations across the country, and, now, 42 restaurants dot seven states. Each one serves up a menu of Baja-style Mexican food, including jumbo burritos, tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas.
