Q:

You mention a conversion hose for a standard propane tank. I didn't see where it could be purchased through this deal with the grill. Can you advise what the website link is to find the hose? Or, is it available at retailers who carry the grill. Thanks

dennis t.  asked on  Jan 19, 2012

A:

Your best bet is to buy this hose online. I would go to amazon.com, or cuisinartwebstore.com. The model number for the hose is QG-012B.

Q:

Does the electric grill come with a spill resistant drip tray, like the gas grill? Is it easy to clean? Between the electric grill and the gas grill, which one is easier to use and clean? Which one creates more real grilling favors for the foods? The electric grill costs a bit more, is that because it performs better/a better option in some other ways or because it doesn't requiring buying gas to use?

Will H.  asked on  Jan 19, 2012

A:

The electric grill comes with a spill resistant drip tray as well. Both grills clean up pretty easily. As far as which one creates more real grilling flavors, it is all about preference. They both work very well, just differently. The gas grill is an open flame, while the electric grill is an open heating element. You are right that the electric grill costs a little bit more, but you will not have to continue to buy replacement gas. You cannot go wrong with either one.

Q:

Does the grill have to be plugged in to an outlet when using outdoors?

Nicole  asked on  Jan 19, 2012

A:

Both the gas and electric grills are intended for outdoor use. The electric grill will have to be plugged into an outlet. The gas grill uses 16 oz. propane canisters that can be purchased at most stores.

Q:

Does the CGG-180T gas grill come with the 16 oz propane canister? How do you fill the canister? When my propane tank needs refilling, I just exchange tanks at the store, so I'm not sure how I would take care of the smaller propane canister.

Patti W.  asked on  Jan 19, 2012

A:

The grill does not come with canisters, (no grills do) You can buy them at any mass retailer, home center, sporting goods store. For the canisters, they are not re-fillable. You get about 8 hours of cooking out of one 16 oz. cannister. You would have to just purchase a new one when empty. Alternatively, you could purchase a conversion hose with this grill and hook it up to a full size propane tank..
