At Ruby Room Studio, owner Missy Lisa draws from years spent as a professional dancer, choreographer, and director to accompany expert instructors leading 60-minute burlesque, yoga, and other alternative-dance classes. Missy tones beginner bodies in the burlesque-body workout, a fast-paced session that sends sneaker-clad pupils swiveling through sultry moves paired with low-impact aerobics to firm up curves. Nimble vixen Ginger Valentine guides the one-hour ballet basics, appropriate for novice and intermediate students, with barre fundamentals and core work that chisel ruts into lacking washboards. Soothing music fills the air during yoga classes, which fuse fluid dance moves with poses that align spines, boost flexibility, and beef up deltoids deflated by years of inactivity or lead-weighted shoulder pads.
Modern and professional, the studio pumps up and pampers students with underfoot hardwood, aptly adorned with crimson-tinted benches and chairs reflected in a mirror that stretches from floor to ceiling, encouraging everyone to maintain proper technique.

About Ruby Room Studio
At Ruby Room Studio, it's perfectly normal to go from practicing a calm and centered yoga pose to donning a gigantic feather boa in the same day. In fact, the instructors encourage students to mix and match their class offerings. For example, Vinyasa poses can complement the fast-paced choreography of hip-hop, or the flexibility-based moves of Burlesque Barre.
As owner and head of the 2014 Burlesque Hall of Fame's Best Troupe, Ruby Revue, Missy Lisa welcomes ladies of all experience levels to the alternative-dance studio. Having won Miss Viva Las Vegas 2013 and Most Classic at the Burlesque Hall of Fame, her experience comes in use during her Burlesque Body Workout class, during which she spices up an aerobics routine with flirtatious moves. The staff also includes award-winning burlesque dancer Ginger Valentine and tapper Layla Stardust. The fierce quartet shows visitors how to shimmy and strut in heels, whether they're attending a group lesson, throwing a private burlesque party or fighting off fire ants.
