What You'll Get
Getting out of the house is often hampered by the fact that most houses are located inside a bigger and fancier house. Step outside the house outside your house with today's Groupon: for $199, you get a hot air balloon ride and champagne brunch for two from Southern AZ Balloons (a $350 value).
With more than 22 years of experience in hot air balloon flight, Patrick and Boby Nilz of Southern AZ Balloons take their passengers on tranquil floating expeditions aboard their FAA-certified aircrafts. As the sun peeps over the horizon, pairs climb into the craft's basket before soaring anywhere from just above the treetops to 3,000 feet in the air. From their aerial perch, passengers take pictures, admire the view of the Catalina and Tucson Mountains, and harvest cotton candy from a passing cloud. After traveling upon the air currents for 4–15 miles, the pilot brings the balloon in for a soft landing, followed by a champagne brunch to celebrate a successful trip. Each flight includes a commemorative flight certificate and ground-level photos to hush up naysaying gravity purists.

About Southern AZ Balloons
The FAA-certified commercial pilots at the helm of Southern AZ Balloons have glided groups across Tucson for more than two decades. During aerial adventures, the luxurious, wind-blown aircraft float as low as the treetops and as high as 2,000 feet depending on conditions. Varying heights present extravagant photographic opportunities, including of mountain ranges and of Catalina. Finally, after traveling anywhere from four to 15 miles, balloons coast to a landing for celebratory champagne brunches.
