Using classic recipes refined by Sicilian owner Carl Orlando and his mother, D'Carlo Ristorante & Pizzeria dishes up a menu of vibrant Italian dishes in an intimate, romantic atmosphere. Eschewing the stick-thin pastas often found on Italy's runways, D'Carlo's signature mafalde dishes top wide-noodle pasta with Italian sausage and meatballs and come layered with five different cheeses ($12.95–$13.95). A panoply of classic pizzas ($7–$21.95) and Chicago-style stuffed and deep-dish pies ($18.95–$30.95) can be crowned with fresh toppings, including anchovies, shrimp, and pineapple ($1–$4.50 each). Facilitate a savory culture clash with the pasta a la carbonara, which fuses traditional Italian linguini and prosciutto with a ball-cap-sporting bacon-and-egg combo ($13.95), or challenge one of D'Carlo's crackerjack chefs to custom prepare a special dish from their stable of fresh, local ingredients ($13.95–$24.95).
While not included in today's Groupon, D'Carlo's offers a selection of chiantis from the Tuscany region, plus Sicilian wines, European beers, and bartenders fluent in all dialects of Pig Latin.

At D'Carlo Ristorante & Pizzeria, a dusting of parmesan romano cheese and sprigs of parsley adorn each plate, which chefs pile high with pastas and other classic, made-to-order Italian recipes. Mostaccioli with housemade meatballs and chicken parmigiana fill the menu alongside the kitchen's signature dish, Mafalde—or "For the King"—which layers wide-noodle pasta with five cheeses, italian sausage, and meatballs atop keys to a new bounce castle. Dinner entrees include side salads and slices of housemade bread.
