Q:

How do I use this Groupon coupon to attend The Girl w/the Pearl Earring exhibit? What does "Value of Groupon can only be applied toward special exhibit admission upon expiration" mean - expiration of what? How do I reserve a ticket for a specific time slot which is required in order to view the 'Girl' exhibit? Thank you.

A:

When redeeming your Groupon, you can pay $5 onsite to also attend the Girl with the Pearl earring.

Your Groupon expires Feb 17, 2013. If you do not use it before the expiration, you can use it for the price you paid for it ($10, $19, etc) and apply that towards admission of another special exhibit.

Q:

How is this groupon redeemed? I've gone to exhibits at the de Young in the past and I had to choose a date and time when purchasing tickets online, but I don't see that option with the groupon. And how/when do we pay the $5 for the Girl with the Pearl Earring exhibit?

Katie L.  asked on  Jan 20, 2013

A:

When you open your Groupon, it will include redemption instructions under the "How to use this" section.

To access your Groupon, please sign into your account at http://www.groupon.com. Once you are signed in, you will see your name at the top of the deal page. Put your cursor over your name and your account menu will drop down. Here you'll be able to find your Groupons in the section called "My Groupons".

You can view and print a Groupon by clicking the "View Voucher" button and get all the information you need to properly redeem it.

You pay the $5 upgrade fee onsite.
