Today's Groupon takes the world of tidbits to the streets at Taste of Dearborn East in East Downtown Dearborn on Wednesday, September 14, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Groupon buyers must check in between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Choose between the following options:
- For $20, you get two admission tickets (up to a $50 value).
- For $35, you get four admission tickets (up to a $100 value).
Hosted by the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce and the East Dearborn Downtown Development Authority, the annual Taste of Dearborn East festival amalgamates local eateries to dazzle townsfolk and visitors alike with culinary concoctions and lively libations. Each purchased ticket includes a menu of participating restaurants and a wristband that allows for unlimited access to a multitude of local grub hubs located in East Downtown Dearborn along Michigan Ave and Schaefer including Warren Avenue and in the Fairlane Town Center Complex. Throughout the event, restaurants such as 360 Lounge, Milan's Pizza, and Joe's Top Dog will sling out complimentary appetizers, and select eateries will also serve drink specials for an additional cost. Although transportation will not be provided, taste testers are free to travel to each snack station by foot, car, or teleportation chamber.
