Deborah’s Place is Chicago’s largest provider of permanent supportive housing for women experiencing homelessness. For nearly 40 years, we have opened doors of opportunity by providing safe housing, comprehensive supportive services, and pathways to healing and stability. Each year, we serve almost 700 women through three housing sites, scattered-site apartments, and drop-in programs. Our holistic model includes case management, health and wellness support, mental health services, job readiness training, and community-building activities. Ninety-two percent of the women who live in our housing retain it year after year, proving that permanent supportive housing is an effective solution to ending homelessness.
