What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I have been in the industry for over 20 years, and I have a degree in Human Performance and an extensive knowledge of working out and fitness. I love fitness, and I love everything about it! I want you to love it to. I have fun when I work out and when we train.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
When you love what you do, it shows. My clients enjoy my unconventional approach. I push you farther than you think you can go, but we laugh and goof off the whole time. In between sessions, I send workouts, encouragement, and most of the time we become friends with lunches, cookouts, and so on.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I fell into the industry when it was still a baby. When I started there were three certifications; now there are hundreds. I decided to start training on my own because I don’t care for large gyms; I don’t like how the members are simply statistics, and the staff is just an expense. I want to change lives!
What do you love most about your job?
Clients being able to do something they couldn’t before. A favorite: a client was so excited, because she was able to pick up a 12 pack of Coke with one hand from her basket and put it in her trunk. I was happy for her, and slowly started working on the next challenge: getting rid of the Coke.
