Intro to Firearms Class for One

Introduction to handguns course is designed for individuals with little handgun experience.

Following the classroom instruction, students will have the opportunity to practice the skills learned in class during range time.

  • Safe loading and unloading procedures
  • Live-fire exercises to demonstrate proper loading and unloading and safe handling procedures learned.

Basic Pistol Class for One

The best foundational class on Pistols students can attend. They will learn all about Semi-automatic Pistols and Revolvers. The Basics of Ammunition and cleaning their firearm. Firearm safety rules and guidelines and the fundamentals of shooting. This is a Certificate Class with classroom and range time.

Basic Rifle Class for One

Students will learn rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing, and kneeling positions; cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

Basic Shotgun Class for One

Introduction to shotguns is a course designed to provide students with the basic instruction and understanding of shotguns. The shotgun can be a great all-around tool, useful not only for fun target shooting, but also as a very effective defensive tool for the home.

  • Malfunctions
  • Safe manipulation of the shotgun
  • Ammunition selections/purpose
  • Characteristics of various shotgun loads
  • Live-fire practice

Basic Carbine Class for One

Introduction to carbines is a class that focuses on the basics of the carbines (AR 15, AK 47, etc.). You will learn the operation and basic use of these rifles. The class is designed for the shooter who has recently purchased a rifle and would like to know the basics of its use. This class is for anyone who wants to learn to load and unload and the basic operation of their carbine.

  • Proper loading and unloading techniques
  • Rifle optics
  • Rifle zeroing

Conceal Carry Class for One

Basic concealed carry class will cover the parts of a firearm, semi-automatic pistols, and revolvers, ammunition and its uses, safety on the range and in the home, how to safely store the firearm, and basic Colorado firearm laws.

Comprehensive Conceal Carry Class for One

The second level class on concealed carry will teach you basic components of mental awareness, drawing from the holster, understanding encounters, less-lethal options.

  • Modes of awareness
  • Malfunctions
  • Carrying in public
  • Drawing from the holster
  • Fine motor and gross motor skills
  • Point shooting techniques
  • Front sight focus shooting

Half-Day Range Rental

Rent the outdoor shooting range or invite friends and family. Safely shoot pistols or rifles on the outdoor range. Our instructors train participants on safety guidelines to make their range time challenging and enjoyable. We use steel, paper, and reactive targets.

• Five-hour rental includes:
  • ½ hour setup
  • ½ hour clean up
  • 4 hours of range time

Full-Day Range Rental
