What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We are a husband-and-wife team with a passion for creativity. We do not charge hourly, but by the job. So, we shoot until we’ve captured what you hired us for and are very flexible with our print and album packages. We want you to walk away with exactly what you envisioned when you hired us.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Carolyn always had a camera growing up and Russ was a Navy photographer in the early ’80s. After marriage in ‘83, it just seemed natural to begin a photography business in 1984.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating. Looking through the viewfinder and seeing the finished product [despite having] not yet taken a shot, and the reaction of the customer when we make the final delivery.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
Referrals. When they tell family and friends who did the images on their wall and we get called, we know we satisfied someone.
