Overall, what a fascinating experience. The weather was perfect and the nature around us was amazing! If loading the kayaks on the bus could be done by the staff, it would be even better.

The bus lady is the best. The operation was a little disorganized, but the tubing was fun.

Overall It was a nice day with a few issues. They give you 1 foot long paddle per person (if you think to ask for it) but for 90% of the River there is virtually ZERO current so if you aren’t actively paddling you really don’t move. Basically it’s approx 5 miles of paddling to move along. My shoulders were crying by the end.

While staff was extremely friendly, additional staff was needed for crowd control: to maintain social distancing and to make sure people were only permitted in the line for tube pickup AFTER their tickets were purchased (In other words - not sending other party members as place-holders). The tubing itself was very much fun, as well as the hot dog stand being a nice stop along the way.

About Delaware River Tubing

Delaware River Tubing launches tubes, rafts, and kayaks on five- to six-mile trips down scenic waterways just north of where George Washington historically crossed the Delaware River. Shuttles ferry groups to launch points, where watercraft journeys begin along the wide river. In addition to renting vessels, Delaware River Tubing's crew leads guided kayak tours that can highlight local wildlife and tackle class one rapids like a mall cop tackling a gummy-bear thief.

During river adventures, scents of barbecue waft across the water from the aptly named Famous River Hotdog Man. The riverside eatery, founded in 1987, partners with Delaware River Tubing to give each customer a hot meal, which they can devour at picnic tables in the water.
