Q:

Looking at the listings on your calendar, I assume dates listed as "Full for Groupon" means we can not use a Groupon for that date? Thanks.

Joseph F.  asked on  Jul 12, 2012

A:

Yes, Joseph that is correct. We reserve 12 out of 18 seats per class for Groupon users and leave the 6 remaining seats available for our many non-Groupon customers. Thanks.

Q:

Next time when putting some thing like this up can you put on there that it is not hands on. We are a little upset to find that out.

Karen C.  asked on  Jul 11, 2012

A:

I'm not sure what made you assume that they were 'hands-on" but we're sorry for any confusion. We will be more specific next time.

Q:

So, if I am planning on attending by myself, is there any way to use the groupon?

Kim F.  asked on  Jul 10, 2012

A:

Hi Kim, The Groupon is for 2 people to come to a class together. So sorry, but no.

Q:

Do you ever offer classes geared towards children with cooking basics, say age 13 and up?

Carolyn C.  asked on  Jul 10, 2012

A:

We do offer kids classes every once in a while but we mainly focus on adult classes for age 16+. However if you have a child who is slightly under (13+) the adult limit and you feel that they are mature enough to come to the class you can bring them with you; but they need to be accompanied by an adult.

Q:

Is this a hands on cooking class? Or is it viewing a demonstration of the execution of a recipe? If it is hands on, after completing the cooking, do we get to enjoy the food?

Jessica M.  asked on  Jul 10, 2012

A:

Most classes are demonstration style. It's like watching a live cooking show but better because you get to ask questions AND eat all the food that's prepared, then you take home a copy of all the recipes. We do occasionally offer hands-on classes and it would actually say that it is a "hands-on" right on the calendar description.
