Dells Army Ducks
Aboard World War II–era Duck amphibious vehicles, knowledgeable guides have been whisking riders on equally informative and thrilling land-water tours of the Lower Dells and Sasquatch Lake for over 70 years. During tours, they point out the area’s remarkable natural features like several 14,000-year-old sandstone rock formations, including Grotto Island and Lone Rock, as well as various gorges, caves, and towering cliffs.
With the Duck’s six-wheel drive capabilities, tours splash down into Lake Delton, traversing Dell Creek while guides relay historical and environmental facts to guests, with a few cheesy jokes thrown in for good measure.
