What You'll Get
When you draw a crowd on the dance floor, it means you either possess awe-inspiring moves or are a black hole. Become a dance star with today's Groupon: for $40, you get eight weeks of group dance lessons at The DelRay Ballroom and Lounge (an $80 value). Customers may buy one additional Groupon for a partner.
The DelRay Ballroom and Lounge’s team of trained instructors, including award-winning competitive dancer Shelley Brackhan Fritz, indoctrinate feet with ballroom, Latin, swing, and country dancing in a spacious studio styled after 1940s dance clubs. During the 55-minute group lessons, dancers rotate between partners to learn the regal postures and gliding steps of ballroom’s foxtrot, waltz, and tango, or the steamy complexities of Latin’s rumba, cha cha, and baked-to-perfection merengue. Two-step and triple two-step through country classes, or ignite Jets vs. Sharks dance-offs with the East and West Coast styles of swing. With admission to DelRay's public dances, dancers can show off their newfound skills or rusty robots to the rhythm of the DJ’s varied dance beats. This Groupon is valid for eight-week courses beginning in September, November, or January. Like the mood of Punxsutawney Phil, schedules vary by the month.
