What You'll Get
Long ago, Scottish polo players longed for a game where they could explore scenic terrain, ride an obedient mechanical horse, and wear more courageously plaid knickers. Marvel in their subsequent invention with today's Groupon to The Deltona Club. Choose from three options:
• For $23, you get a weekday golf package, including a round of golf (a up to a $27.50 value, golf cart included), lunch and beverages (a $13.50 value), and range balls (a $5 value; up to a $46 total value).
• For $25, you get a weekend golf package, including a round of golf (up to a $32.50 value, golf cart included), lunch and beverages (a $13.50 value), and range balls (a $5 value; up to a $51 total value).
• For $25, you get a private golf lesson from PGA professional Artie Wilson (a $50 value).
Newly renovated and reopened in 2008, The Deltona Club made Golfweek magazine's Best New Courses list in 2009. The new design is the eye-catching creation of award-winning golf-course architect Bobby Weed, who transformed the course into acres of rolling green vistas suggestive of a sliver of northeastern territory or southwestern guacamole. The 18-hole course is outfitted with a clubhouse sporting a new bar, lounge, and grill room, as well as locker rooms and other indoor amenities. While practicing with a bucket of range balls, players can visualize a birdie or envision the included lunchtime meal made up of a sandwich, chips, and two beverages.
Ambitious chippers can opt for the club's private lessons with PGA professional Artie Wilson. During a 45-minute lesson, Wilson will iron out spastic strokes and course-correct errant ball trajectories, helping golfers reach the flag sooner so they can capture it before the other neighborhood kids.
The Deltona Club’s rates fluctuate throughout the day; plan ahead to make sure you're redeeming your Groupon at the most opportune time.

About The Deltona Club
Renowned golf-course architect Bobby Weed aims to fill his courses with the kind of rich details typically produced only by Mother Nature herself. His 2008 overhaul of The Deltona Club completely transformed the course: today, blowout-style native-sand bunkers bear roughly scalloped edges that call to mind a raw desert landscape, and the elevation rises in craggy steps as the course progresses, giving players a sense of conquering the land itself. The course's resulting beauty, sense of challenge, and secret bonus level snagged the club a spot on Golfweek's list of best Florida courses in 2012.
