Memories are easy to create but difficult to re-create, mainly because the Grand Canyon is so difficult to transport. Preserve precious mental keepsakes with this Groupon from Denevi Digital Imaging in Hayward. Choose between the following options:

  • For $23, you get three videotape-to-DVD transfers and complimentary Arcsoft editing software (a $59.85 value).
  • For $40, you get six videotape-to-DVD transfers and complimentary Arcsoft editing software (a $119.70 value).<p>

Denevi Digital Imaging’s meticulous technicians convert memories captured on VHS tapes into digital form with professional DVD-transferring services. With DVD transfers, customers can convert footage onto a professional-quality DVD, forever protecting special occasions with a combination of Denevi’s commercial machinery and deflector shields. After the VHS transformation, which takes approximately two weeks, a healthy newborn DVD is transported to clients via stork, complete with a jacket, thumbnail previews, motion-thumbnail scene selection, and chapter marks. Patrons will also receive a complimentary full version of Arcsoft ShowBiz DVD 2 software, which allows them to edit and manipulate their home movies with professional precision.

Denevi Digital Imaging

Frank Denevi is a technical expert when it comes to photography and video transfers, but that's not the only reason he's well known in the Bay Area. In the 1960s, he was one of the first business owners in the city to appear in his own television commercials, complete with a memorable jingle: "Dublin, Berkeley, San Lorenzo, Cupertino and San Jose…"

Today, major corporations such as Kodak and Walgreens trust Frank Denevi and his son, Michael, with their media transfer needs, but the Denevis and their staff also lend their expertise to individuals. They convert home videos, photos, and slides from videotape to digital formats that can easily be read by a DVD player or plugged directly into technologically advanced brains. DVDs are archival quality and come with protective poly cases; the playable discs include easy to use chapter mark navigation.
