Denver Trolley: A Ride Through History
The Denver Trolley carries the torch of the state capital's long history of electric transit. While today’s trolley is just a small reminder of the original system, once spanning over 290 miles of track, it offers a unique opportunity to experience a living piece of Denver’s past.
Operating along the riverfront during the spring and summer seasons, the Trolley transports passengers from Confluence Park toward the Downtown Aquarium, continuing past the Children’s Museum of Denver and Empower Field at Mile High, home of the Denver Broncos. As the Trolley glides down the tracks, riders enjoy a narrated journey that highlights the area's rich history and offers striking views of the South Platte River and Denver’s expanding skyline.
