During first session, you spend a couple minutes signing paperwork. In preparation for the procedure, you ice the area while the nurse practitioner gives you a quick rundown of the process, clears up any misconceptions with lasering, and schedules your next appointment. Once it comes time for the actual lasering, she tests your tolerance to a level you're comfortable with. Even at a higher setting, it's not painful at all since she has you ice the area prior.
