Desserts by Debbie

When other kids were setting up their summertime lemonade stands, young Debbie Richter was dominating the sidewalk economy with her fresh-baked cupcakes. The budding gourmand’s passion for sweets propelled her to the Culinary Institute of America, where she honed her pastry skills. Over the years, Debbie’s confections have been featured in Southern Living magazine and won eight Best of Louisville awards.

Now, Debbie collaborates with clients to design personalized treats for any occasion. She hand-rolls and drapes fondant over her multitiered creations and adorns them with elegant flourishes such as handmade calla lilies, edible gold lace, and tiny monocles. In addition to elaborate confections, Debbie also bakes shortbreads, cookies, and macaroons.:m]]
