Q:

What kind of plane do they fly? My husband is a private pilot but would love a jet experience in the simulator.

Billenda O.  asked on  Dec 18, 2012

A:

We simulate smaller general aviation aircraft not jets. We do have a Cirrus SR22 which is very cool and also an Extra 300 aerobatic airplane. So there are some fun options.

Q:

Is there an age restriction? I have a 15 year old that is the size of any 18+, I'm trying to find Something - Anything that will spark an interest, ignite a desire for something aside the BAD roads he starting to travel down... I believe this would be a good opportunity for possibly just that. . . .

Saylor W.  asked on  Dec 17, 2012

A:

15 is a good age for this sim experience and not to young to begin flight training.

Q:

30 minutes is not a lot of time! Is there any instruction/training prior to getting in? If so, how much as I am thinking about giving as a gift to 14 year old grandson.

F. J.  asked on  Dec 16, 2012

A:

14 is a perfect age. The 30 minutes is 30 min in the sim and is a hands on experience that can be as much of a first lesson or just a fun flight experience as you want. We don't spend a lot of time doing ground school prior to the flight and it has not been a problem.

Q:

is there an age limit?

Patty L.  asked on  Dec 16, 2012

A:

There is no hard age limit. But you know your child. They need to be able to follow instructions and not be wild. We suggest 10 and up but it is up to your discretion.

Q:

Can anyone do this, or do you have to be an actual pilot? My husband is obsessed with planes and flying but is not a pilot, but would love this experience. So can just anyone go into the simulator?

Amber B.  asked on  Dec 14, 2012

A:

The sims can be used by anyone. You need not be a pilot. Your husband will love it.
