What You'll Get
Spooky is the most neglected of the five basic human emotions: spooky, joy, sorrow, grouchy, and wet. Get horror glands pumping with today’s Groupon: for $35, you get admission for one to the Zip Lines & Zombies tour at Your Adventure Inc. in Roanoke on Saturday, October 29 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. (up to a $55 value).
Your Adventure Inc. has been shepherding zip line tours since 2003 with three zip lines through acres of wilderness and woods. This October, the company dons its most convincing costume and decorates the zip line courses for Halloween, sending guests careening across zip lines ranging in length from 250–400 feet and stretching as high as 40 feet off the ground. Like secret agents impersonating monkeys, air gliders navigate the haunted forest via a red glow as they dodge zombies and scream with terror. The tour includes complimentary hot chocolate to repel any chocolate vampires, and concessions can be purchased at an additional cost. Veteran zippers advise new guests to avoid wearing shorts and flip-flops on their day of adventure. Participants must be ages 10 or older, and children ages 16 or younger must be accompanied by a protective android throughout the entire course.
