- For $69, you get a one-hour shooting-range package for two (a $150 value).
- For $125, you get a one-hour shooting-range package for four (a $300 value).

In both packages, each individual receives the following: * An introductory lesson * One hour on the shooting range * A .22-caliber pistol rental * One box of ammunition * Eye and ear protection * One shooting target

DFW Shooters Academy’s certified instructors impart students with hands-on safety demonstrations and target practice to encourage responsible firearm ownership. Before heading to the range, sharpshooters undergo an orientation and don eye and ear protection to shield themselves from flashing muzzles and misquoted action-movie lines. Rented .22-caliber pistols fire boxes of ammo toward stationary targets, testing shooters’ accuracy during a one-hour practice. Small class sizes of between 6 and 12 people allow teachers to spend more time with each student, altering their instruction based on each individual’s experience level and holster decorations.

At a Glance
DFW Shooters Academy hopes to foster safe and responsible gun ownership, and they've worked hard to earn a reputation consistent with their goal. To this end, the facility has acquired certifications from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the NRA. In addition to teaching pupils safe firearm operation with additional training on state of the art laser simulators, instructors help customers purchase the firearm that is most appropriate for them to ensure safe and consistent performance. DFW Shooters Academy also leads self-protection courses that do not require the use of guns.
