A Chat with Diana Hufford Personal Training Sherman Oaks
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Slow motion high intensity strength training is one of the safest, most effective and most time efficient ways to workout. Training sessions are 20 minutes long, but your body feels like it did much more and you get the rest of the week to recover and do the things you love to do outside of the gym!
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
I like to vary the exercises we do from time to time and I have a gentle yet firm way of pushing people. Your body can always do more than your mind thinks you can. I also provide nutritional support as needed at no additional charge.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I've been an athlete and a runner my whole life. When I was running my second marathon, I developed knee and hip pain that almost kept me from finishing the race. Shortly after, my best friend turned me on to slow motion high intensity strength training and it healed my injuries and changed my life.
What do you love most about your job?
I LOVE it when a client tells me that their clothes are fitting better or they can now stow their luggage in the overhead compartment without assistance or that their back pain is lessened. That's what keeps me doing what I do.
