The energetic eatery, popular with bachelorette parties, soccer hooligans, and dehydrated astronauts, has been a Dallas legend for the past 25 years.

Dick's Last Resort offers a menu full of finger foods designed to taste as good as they look smeared across your bib and dripping sloppily down your bare hands. Start with deep-fried gator bites ($6.99) dipped in chipotle ranch or chicken-topped machos nachos ($9.98). For dinner, you'll find Dick's semi-famous buckets of grub filled with everything from steamed crab legs to ribs and wings. For lighter fare, try the salads ($10.99 each at dinner, $8.49 at lunch). An inventive cocktail menu lists lively libations including hurricanes, mojitos, and pina coladas.

Perfect for those bereft of table manners, Dick's Last Resort dresses its picnic tables with loud music and steel buckets of finger food. Though waitstaff members won't coddle you with frivolous niceties, such as manners and smiles, their playful insults and efficient service will remind you of spring break '92, minus the arrests and crab-claw wounds.
