Q:

Does this groupon cover just the shots or the office visit, too? Is there an additional charge to administer the shot or get the prescription or the visit? I guess I want to make sure that if I purchase this, I won't have additional out-of-pocket costs if I purchase this groupon. THANKS!

Deb D.  asked on  Nov 1, 2012

A:

The groupon purchase covers everything for the injections. There is no office visit charge, administration costs, or prescription fees. You will not be asked or required to pay any additional costs. Thanks.

Yes, our hCG is prescription grade. It is compounded at a pharmacy locally, and is tested for quality and potency daily.

Q:

I'm a 50 year old menapausal female. I would like to lose about 25 lbs especially in my mid section and rear end. My metabolism has slowed significally and I've tried several other weight loss programs including HCG. I would love to try the slim shots but sceptical. How can you convince me this will work? I don't mind putting in extra work if it's required. Also, how many shots are required for me to reach my 25 lb goal.

carol l.  asked on  Oct 29, 2012

A:

Hi Carol! I'm very sorry that we were unable to get to your question! Since this Groupon is only available for purchase for a limited time, I suggest contacting the merchant directly at 972-918-0000. Thanks for your interest!

Q:

Is a psychologist licensed to Prescribe and conduct medical consultations? The ad describes a "Prescription hCG Program" and the Merchant "Stephanie S." answered a question about needing clearance by her doctor with this "No one is required to go through a health screening. We do have a brief medical consultation form to be completed, but aside from that anyone is eligible for the injections. They are will not complicate any existing health issues." I thought only physicians could prescribe injectable medications and offer "medical consultations". Isn't giving an injection considered an invasive medical procedure? Can just anyone set up a program like this and sign people up to come get substances injected into their bodies without the proper license and training to back them up? Did this psychologist go through some sort of additional training? What are his qualifications to be performing invasive medical procedures?

Frankie W.  asked on  Oct 27, 2012

A:

Our clinic not only has a psychologist, but a medical director and multiple licensed physicians. The prescriptions are written by the licenses physicians for all medications and injections. No one is permitted to provide services they are not licensed and qualified for. We actually have a wonderful staff of highly experienced and trained employees. Dr. Davisson has been in practice for over 35 years and our doctors have been in practice for over 70 years combined. The injections are administered by a member of our medical team, and I can assure you that no one has been subject to an invasive injection.

Jamie W.  asked on  Oct 26, 2012

A:

No. You won't need to wait after the injection.
