During each open-air outing, an instructor provides guidance for flawless lighting, thoughtful framing, and capturing the vibrancy of human and plant life at city locales.

Workshops are held on Saturday and Sunday at various times and locations at scenic venues such as the National Mall, Georgetown, and the Brookside Gardens. Participants should plan to schlep their own digital camera and any other equipment, such as a tripod or an anti-redeye spell book, to the site of their picturesque adventure.
