The Surprise location of Dillion's is being remodeled until December. Please note that this Groupon can still be redeemed at the Phoenix, Morristown, Peoria, and Glendale locations in the meantime.
Most modern cuisine is a continuation of classic dishes, just as a computer is a slightly modified typewriter and a washing machine is a river in a box. Revel in palatable progress with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $35 worth of barbecue, American fare, and drinks at Dillon's. This Groupon is valid at the Glendale, Morristown, Peoria, Phoenix, and Surprise locations.
Dillon's fire-wielding meat sizzlers plate up traditional American flavors with inviting hospitality, inspiring the Phoenix New Times to crown their barbecue the best in Phoenix. A menu of barbecue dinner specials, such as the Kansas City–style burnt ends ($13.99), swathe taste buds with smoky flavor, and seafood favorites, such as catfish fillets ($12.99), take a dip in Dillon's own batter before performing a synchronized swan dive into the fryer. A host of hearty sandwiches also keeps hunger at bay, including the Red Devil pork sandwich ($9.49), on which soothing coleslaw and hellfiery Cajun sauce fight to control the conscience of pulled pork and smoked sausage meats.
Each of Dillon's locations sports a unique look and feel, from the farmhouse ambiance of the original location in Peoria to the breathtaking views and floating bars of the restaurant on the bay of Lake Pleasant. Occasional live entertainment helps ramp up the atmosphere, including comedy nights, band performances, and wrestling-cage matches between D-list movie stars.
The four Dillon's locations couldn't be more different. At Dillon's Bayou the newest location at Lake Pleasant, guests can dine beside a 60,000 gallon shark tank in the dining room and vibrant pink flamingoes on the patio. The huge bar and restaurant at Lake Pleasant provides a spectacular view of the mountains and water as well as serving up award winning BBQ.
In 2011, Dillon's opened perhaps its most impressive location at the Wild Life World Zoo. In addition to its unique settings and food, this Dillon's is known for its hospitality and sense of fun, including setting up live webcams. Check them out here. In 2005, Dillons opened a second location in Glendale to share a combination of good food and relaxed ambiance which proved to be so successful for all Dillon's locations. This one plays host to golfers and sports enthusiasts, entertaining them with 30 HD-TVs, as well as with live bands on the weekends.
The first location, which opened in 1999, was once described as "a cute, converted old house that looks like grandma's parlor" by the Phoenix New Times. There, guests devour Kansas City–style barbecue slathered in housemade sauces and listen to live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
