The eatery's mesquite menu sports savory baby back ribs ($17.99 half rack; $22.99 whole rack) as well as a pulled-pork platter, which is slow-smoked overnight in footie pajamas and topped with three different barbecue sauces ($12.29). Sandwiches include the barbecue brisket sandwich served atop a toasted bun ($9.69), while the OMG salmon, crowned with Dillon's famous spinach artichoke recipe and breadcrumbs, satisfies pescatarians ($17.99). In addition to hosting live bands, karaoke nights, and sports broadcasts, each character-packed location possesses unique architectural charms, ranging from a Hollywood history room to a waterfront patio where diners can chortle as fish attempt to develop democracy.
The four Dillon's locations couldn't be more different. At Dillon's Bayou the newest location at Lake Pleasant, guests can dine beside a 60,000 gallon shark tank in the dining room and vibrant pink flamingoes on the patio. The huge bar and restaurant at Lake Pleasant provides a spectacular view of the mountains and water as well as serving up award winning BBQ.
In 2011, Dillon's opened perhaps its most impressive location at the Wild Life World Zoo. The first location, which opened in 1999, was once described as "a cute, converted old house that looks like grandma's parlor" by the Phoenix New Times. There, guests devour Kansas City–style barbecue slathered in housemade sauces and listen to live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
