About Dion Robert Photography
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Based out of Denver, Colorado, and available for international travel, I specialize in wedding and portrait photography. As a boutique photographer, my goal is to craft for you the highest quality pictures, while making the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. As such, I only accept 20 weddings, and 20 portrait clients per year. Some of my professional affiliations have included the Wedding Photojournalist Association, Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, and the Professional Photographers of America.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? I started my business over ten years ago while I was attending college for graphic design and working for some of the areas top photographers. I found that I loved being behind the camera more than being behind a computer and decided to branch off on my own. Fast forward to today and I’ve gained a wealth of experience, helped other photographers get their start, and have photographed hundreds of people.
What do you love most about your job? The camera helps me meet amazing people. I can not tell you how many times people have seen me with all of my equipment and asked what I was shooting. Or, assuming that I know what I am doing with a camera, they will ask me to take their photo. Many times this leads to a conversation with fascinating new people.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? Tears...It's not uncommon to see a newlywed couple tear up while looking through their wedding album for the first time.
