What You'll Get
Going on grocery runs, racing city buses, and conducting shuttle diplomacy are all a lot easier when your bike is shifting smoothly and braking briskly. Today's side deal banishes the squeaks from your two-wheeled steed with a basic tune-up for $60 from District Hardware and The Bike Shop, a $110 value. Family owned and operated, the Bike Shop delivers service without the haughty attitude or the massive ear gages of the typical bike shop. All the bike-whispering happens at its 24th Street location.
The Bike Shop's grease-slicked, tight-shorted technicians will tinker, tighten, and lube your bike up, down, inside, and around. Your tune-up includes service and adjustment for front and rear brakes, drive trains, wheel bearings, and truing (excludes spoke replacement or rim-wall correction), filling and topping-off of air and fluids, and a complete safety check followed by road testing if the weather is cooperating. It does not include parts. Additional charges may apply for hydraulic brakes.
After weeks of riding through pummeling snow and slush spiked with gear-gnawing road salt, your bike may sound more like a pepper grinder than the stoked road beast it was meant to be. A tune-up is the perfect solution to put some growl back in your sweet aluminum prowler. Call ahead with Groupon info to schedule.
Service may be refused on any bike due to safety, mechanical, or technical conditions when repairs needed are more than the value of the bike. In such cases, a $60 store credit toward a new in-stock bike will be offered.
