Choose from Three Options
- $252 for a PADI open-water-certification course ($520 value)
- $26 for Discover Scuba class for one ($120 value)
- $42 for Discover Scuba class for two ($240 value)
During PADI open-water certification courses, students learn the fundamentals of diving during classroom sessions, two pool training sessions, and four open-water dives in nearby waterways. At the end of the course, they’ll be fully certified for basic open-water dives under the auspices of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).
Designed for diving newcomers, Discover Scuba sessions take place in the safe confines of a pool. After a safety briefing, guests don their provided scuba equipment, learning about the function of each piece as they go. They conclude the experience with their first scuba-assisted dive, exploring the depths of the pool under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor.
For nearly three decades, Foster "Lee" Billings has spent at least part of his week underwater. The PADI-certified Master Trainer and owner of Dive Time shares his scuba experiences with local divers through classes and open-water dives. Whether students want to learn how to dive at night, explore a shipwreck, or take underwater photos, Dive Time's instructors make sure that each one gets training that's both safe and informative. The center is also a destination for more experienced divers, who can restock on equipment from the well-tended dive shop.
