About Divine Movement Pole Dancing
From Divine Movement's twin studios in Kirkland and Seattle, owner Jennifer Patenaude oversees a sultry suite of pole-dance and Boudoir Dance ™ classes set to the sounds of heart-pumping rock, indie, and hip-hop. Though not specifically a workout regimen, the floor-based and pole-vaulted routines are high-energy maneuvers that help to boost confidence and create a positive self-image. Six-week series cater to beginners and intermediate seductresses, and more advanced drop-in sessions cover holds, inverted handstands, and midair tea service. The dress code calls for comfortable yoga-style wear and bare feet or legwarmers.
