I've experienced a decent amount of acupuncture from various practitioners. This is the first time I've had a Korean practitioner and it seemed comparable to the Japanese style I've had in the past. Basically, it's a passive style where a low to moderate amount of needles are applied and then you're left to relax for an hour. Comparatively, I've experienced styles where more needles and ear seeds are used (Americans using Chinese style) or needles that are hooked up to electricity (Chinese style). I found this office to be clean and professional, but the rooms are not insulated well and you will hear noise coming from the halls and other rooms. I purchased a 3 session package and it was definitely worth the time for the price. I'm not sure if I will return though because, fortunately, there are many acupuncturists located in my area and I'm curious to try different styles. I think I may prefer the Chinese styles as I notice more immediate results. Acupuncture is great no matter what. If you've never tried it, this office will give you a great introduction.
