Before sports bars, the only place to view eight games simultaneously was inside the brain of a spider. Achieve octovision with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of pub fare and drinks at Doc's Pad Bar and Grill.
Doc's Pad Bar and Grill specializes in massive burgers, sandwiches, salads, and wraps, in addition to a generous beer and liquor selection, served in a sports bar-themed restaurant. The Food Network-inspired menu boasts creative comfort food and all-day breakfast, including the enormous Dr. G's Hangover Remedy, sourdough bread layered with chicken fried steak, cheese, hash browns, country gravy, and fried egg ($.8.50). Burgers and sandwiches rule the lunch and dinner menus, with epicurean varieties such as the Brooklyn Burger, a half-pound ground-steak patty crowned with cheddar and pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, pastrami, and fresh veggies ($10.50), and the Overstuffed Doc, a mound of cold cuts topped with cheese, french fries, coleslaw, tomato, and pickle ($8.75). Doc's Pad whips up finger food treats including fried pickle chips with ranch dressing ($5.50) and spicy tater tots so crispy and brown they inspire jealousy in George Hamilton ($4.50).
For patrons thirsty from the journey downtown, Doc's Pad offers a full bar along with 13 beers on tap. The Oregon Duck-friendly restaurant boasts HD TVs and two 12-foot projection screens to ensure fans catch the game no matter where they sit—except the roof, directly behind the screens, or at another restaurant. Doc’s Pad will also give a 15% discount on any amount spent beyond the Groupon’s $20 value.

Eugene Weekly featured Doc's Pad, three Yelpers give it a 3.5-star average, and it has more than 850 Facebook fans:
- The menu, mostly consisting of American food, bar appetizers and a few island cuisine selections, makes for more meal choices than are often found at a full-service bar such as Doc’s. – Shaun O'Dell, Eugene Weekly
- What really surprised me was the food. I had the special which was a chicken, rice and veggies type dish. – Josh W., Yelp, 5/23/10
