I have browsed through dogvacay.com - and finally found a host that I would like to leave my dogs with. She has sent me a custom quote - and I am yet to accept it. Can I buy this groupon and use it towards that first reservation. How would the process work? Thanks Richa

A:

Hi Richa! You can certainly use this Groupon on your Custom Quote as long as this is your first booking on DogVacay. After you accept the Custom Quote, you can enter your Groupon voucher code in the "Coupon Code" field in order to apply it to the reservation. Q:

I am a dog vacay host, but I have never made a reservation for my personal dogs with another host. Am I eligble to use this deal?

Hi Barbara, I am sorry that is not allowed as it is only one Groupon per household. We ofter have coupon codes on Facebook and Twitter, so keep an eye on us for future deals. We hope your your pup has an amazing Vacay!

Hi Donna! If a Host provides "emergency transportation," it means that they have access to a vehicle to take your pup to the Vet if needed.

Hi Baraba, Unfortunately this is only one per household and new customers to DogVacay, so this would not be allowed, as you have used the service for your dog prior. Q:

I will be using DogVacay in the near future and would like to do a 1-night stay with the host I'm considering prior to my dog staying for a length of time. Can I save my Groupon voucher (as long as I don't put in the code) for the longer stay versus the "trial" stay or does it have to be used for the first stay? Also, my friend wants to buy a voucher to herself and "gift" one to her husband but they own the same dog (but both are new to DogVacay), can they do that?

A:

Hi Daniell, unfortunately your Groupon is only valid for your first booking. If you book your extended stay first then you Groupon would apply towards it. If it is booked after your trial unfortunately it would not be valid. In regards to your friends booking, it is only one Groupon per family and this is not allowed unfortunately. We hope you dog has a great Vacay.

Q:

The place I would like to use states that one dog is $30.00 and each additional dog is $5.00 I have three dogs. Can I use the Groupon for all three dogs this way? I would be purchasing the option for $90.00 worth of pet sitting.

Hi Tery, that's great to hear you found a host you think will be a good fit. Yes, you can use your groupon for all the pups. Your host will send you over a custom quote for your reservation that will include pricing for all three dogs. We hope your dogs have a great Vacay!

Q:

I found a host I want to contact but see she hasn't been credentialed yet. Exactly what does that mean and should I feel comfortable with someone who hasn't satisfied this part of the process?

All DogVacay Hosts throughout the US & Canada have been vetted by our 5-step process that includes an extensive application, in-depth review by a Host Community Manager, phone screen, online training and even personal reference checks and reviews by actual DogVacay customers. It is possible that your Host is new to the site if she does not have the "additional" credentials we offer, and is currently working on acquiring them. You can always set up a Meet-n-Greet by clicking on the "Request A Meet-n-Greet" link on her profile page, so you can meet her and view her home! Q:

Are we allowed to ask the host questions before we purchase the groupon? It appears we must create a dogvacay account before we can ask a question, and we want to make sure we don't disqualify ourselves by creating an account and then asking a question before buying the groupon, since the groupon is for "new members only", but one of your previous answers said as long as we don't have a confirmed reservation or as long as we don't have an earlier reservation from a previous stay, we can use this groupon This sounds like we are allowed to create an account and ask a question before using the groupon with no disqualification.

Is it correct to say we can still use this groupon even if we schedule a meet and greet with a host, but as long as we do not have a confirmed reservation we are ok to use it? Can we create an account on your website before we purchase the groupon or after, or does it matter?
