Dogs on Track's dog trainer-developers Lauraine and Cara McAlaster provide a space for dogs and humans to exercise together, forging healthful habits and stronger bonds. In a climate-controlled, fenced-in, and off-leash playground, canine-person pairs frolic around dog-friendly see-saws, balance beams, and potted trees. Owners can trot four-legged comrades around the facility's indoor walking track or take stationary laps on dog-size treadmills. A saltwater swimming pool allows for synchronized owner and dog paddling as well as aquatic socialization with other canines and outgoing rubber ducks. At the self-service wash's raised tub, owners scrub dogs without the rough tongues of traditional baths, lathering them with professional shampoo and wiping dry using provided towels.
