THE BOAT TOUR WAS AWESOME AND WE SAW A TON OF DOLPHINS! The trip is the perfect length (90 mins) and the boat is fully shaded and clean w/ comfortable benches and plenty of seating for good viewing all around the boat. Plus, the captain gave us the freedom to move around & you can bring a lunch box with drinks & snacks. The captain was a great host who was funny and shared his knowledge of the area & dolphins. We didn’t see any manatees, but we were able to see dolphins throughout the entire tour & the captain would call them out as he saw them, so we knew where to look. He took his time and got close and we circled around them so everyone got great views from both sides of the boat as they swam all around us. We were so close that when the dolphins came up for air, (right beside the boat), you could feel the water from their blowholes. (We saw so many dolphins that I can't even count how many).. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Note: Make sure to arrive 15 mins early as suggested, as we started boarding the boat at 10:50am & left the dock at 11:00am. (Don’t be late). This trip was for myself and my 2 daughters (8 and 13 years old). We LOVED it!

Excellent boat tour. Saw many dolphins. The trip was very informative. Five star. Wish more people left a tip ... some people are so cheap or just rude 🙄

Our experience was wonderful! We toured after a night of thunderstorms so we were concerned that we wouldn't see many dolphins. We were wrong! They were jumping out of the water before we even left the boat dock. They were all over the waters. They even came right to the boat and we spent at least 15 minutes watching a group of over 20 dolphins jumping and playing. It was amazing!!

So fun! Saw so many dolphins playing around. Bring a jacket if you go in the winter on a chilly day, though-if you don’t need it stow it, but you’ll be glad you did.

About DolFun Tours

Aboard a 35-foot vessel, DolFun Tours' US Coast Guard master captain guides guests on treks along the Indian River, passing the Historic Dragon Point and Mathers Turn Bridge, as well as the Eau Gallie Yacht Club . After passengers select their spots from the boat's indoor and outdoor seating areas, expeditions traverse the river's diverse estuary, where more than 4,400 species of birds and fish dwell. As the ship drifts by, visitors can catch sight of manatees resting in their natural habitats and dolphins rehearsing lines before auditioning for the next Flipper remake. Passengers can hook up their own music via an iPod plug in, bring their own food and drinks, or take a dip in the water. Along with daytime jaunts, DolFun Tours hosts sunset tours on select weekend evenings.
