For $5, today's side deal gets you $10 worth of coffee, cupcakes, and more at Dolce Espresso Video Coffee Bar, located in Anne's Plaza on Camelback Road. The cafe serves alertness in the form of four plasma TVs playing music videos and seven specialty coffee drinks ($3.75–$4.15), which can be made with Ghirardelli chocolate and Stirling flavored syrups. A 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio gives jittery legs room to jitter and unfilled stomachs an open space to fill up on lunch offerings, such as paninis with focaccia bread ($5.95–6.95) and minestrone soup ($3.95). Dolce Espresso is open until midnight on weekdays and until 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
- Brothers Cesar and Leo Marin opened their shop back in November, with the hopes that customers would come in after hitting the clubs on weekends. On Fridays and Saturdays, Dolce is open 24 hours, and showcases DJs playing music videos on three large plasma screen TVs. "I wanted to create more of a hangout," says Cesar. – Michele Laudig, Phoenix New Times
- This is a fantastic little coffee bar! I like the twist with the televisions and the couches; it really lets you get comfortable. There are always great people in here chilling out and enjoying a drink or treat. – Nader A., Yelp
